This market package instance for Field systems in Canada provides the capability to detect and classify security sensitive Dangerous Goods on commercial vehicles using roadside sensing and imaging technology. Credentials information can be accessed to verify if the commercial driver, vehicle and carrier are permitted to transport the identified Dangerous Goods. If the credentials analysis and sensed Dangerous Goods information do not agree, the vehicle can be signaled to pull in, and if required, an alarm can be sent to Emergency Management to request they monitor, traffic stop or disable the vehicle.
